Shame on Wittman for claiming to help the vulnerable while he hurts them
Rob Wittman claims he's inspired to "protect the vulnerable" because of his own history as an adoptee. But his votes have:
Stripped healthcare from tens of thousands in VA-01
Reduced food assistance for hundreds of thousands
Threatened rural hospital viability
Increased healthcare costs across the board
Destabilized safety net programs
His votes have cut $863B - $911B from Medicaid over 10 years, impacting 1 in 8 VA-01 residents. Over 24,000 of us could lose Medicaid coverage, and he cut $295 billion from SNAP over 10 years, impacting 827,000 Virginians.

Opposed minimum wage increases to $15/hour
Voted against restoring funding for 21st Century Community Learning Centers
Opposed amendments to preserve student protections in higher education
